Declaration of Accessibility

San Benedetto

Declaration of Web Site Accessibility https://www.sanbenedetto.it for Private Entities referred to in Article 3 paragraph 1 of Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004.

DECLARATION

San Benedetto S.p.A. undertakes to make its Web Site accessible, in accordance with Law no. 4 of 9 January 2004.
This declaration of accessibility applies to https://www.sanbenedetto.it/

State of Conformity: PARTIALLY CONFORMING

This website is Partially Compliant with the requirements of Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard due to the cases of non-compliance listed below.

NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENTS

The contents listed below are not accessible for the following reason(s):

  • Criteria: 9.1.1.1
Some non-text content, such as images and icons, do not have equivalent textual alternatives that would allow their meaning or function to be understood.
  • Criteria: 9.1.2.1
There is no alternative method for understanding video content, such as transcripts or descriptions that allow access to information without the use of audiovisual aids.
  • Criteria: 9.1.2.2
Some of the pre-recorded videos on the site do not include synchronised subtitles.
  • Criteria: 9.1.2.3
No audio description or equivalent textual alternative is provided for the videos to access the information conveyed through the video images.
  • Criteria: 9.1.3.1
Certain structural information, such as the hierarchical weight of headings in certain sections or the field in the search bar without an assigned label, are not programmatically determinable, making their use less comprehensible during navigation via assistive technologies such as screen readers.
  • Criteria: 1.3.2
The structure of some interactive components does not preserve a meaningful reading sequence: when navigated via assistive technologies such as screen readers, the visual order does not always correspond or some elements may be read despite not being in an active state, as in the case of sections with tabs or carousels.
  • Criteria: 1.3.5
There is not always a mechanism developed in the input fields through which it may be possible to identify the type of input in order to facilitate assistive technologies in the input of customised support.
  • Criteria: 9.1.4.3
There are cases where the minimum colour contrast between text and background colour is not fully respected, such as in cards or heroes with a background image and white text, or in sections where dark text is superimposed on a background colour that is not light enough to ensure full readability.
  • Criteria: 9.1.4.4 When text is resized up to 200%, limited parts of the content risk being partly cut off or superimposed on other elements, making it more complex to read.
  • Criteria: 9.1.4.5
Some texts included in images or graphics are not provided in alternative text format.
  • Criteria: 9.1.4.10
There are exceptional cases in which, by resizing the screen (display at 320x256px), some content and images do not fit correctly, resulting in sideways cuts or poor usability.
  • Criteria: 9.1.4.11
There are limited cases in which visual elements, such as icons superimposed on background images or form fill-in fields (in the error or non-completion scenario), do not meet the minimum colour contrast requirements with respect to the background.
  • Criteria: 9.2.1.1
Some interactive elements, such as buttons for opening or closing modals, filters or drop-down menus, are not fully usable via the keyboard.
  • Criteria: 9.2.1.2
In cases such as modals or in the interactive menu, the focus is not managed in such a way as to ensure that its passage occurs within the activated section (but remains on the elements below), causing possible navigation traps for users navigating via assistive technologies such as keyboard or screen reader.
  • Criteria: 9.2.2.2
The main slider on the homepage, or rare cases of sections with background video, do not offer a mechanism to pause, stop or restart content, not guaranteeing full control over automatic playback.
  • Criteria: 9.2.4.1
There is no mechanism for users to bypass the navigation menu and jump directly to the main page content.
  • Criteria: 9.2.4.3
There are cases where the keyboard navigation order is not entirely meaningful and logical, and therefore does not follow the visual structure of the elements.
  • Criteria: 9.2.4.4
Some links have textual labels which, even in context, do not make their function or destination entirely clear.
  • Criteria: 9.2.4.6
In some sections, the labels or titles are not sufficiently descriptive of topics or purposes.
  • Criteria: 9.2.4.7
In interactive elements (such as input fields, links, navigation buttons or selectable cards) the focus indicator is not visible during keyboard navigation or other technologies.
  • Criteria: 9.3.3.1
In the event of errors when filling in fields in forms, the user does not always receive clear and specific indications as to what the error consists of.
  • Criteria: 9.3.3.2
Some mandatory fields in forms are not marked visually or semantically.
  • Criteria: 9.3.3.3
Error messages in forms do not offer sufficiently clear and customised suggestions on how to solve compilation problems.
  • Criteria: 9.4.1.2
Some interface components, such as buttons, links, tabs, modals or form fields, do not provide sufficient information about their name, role or status, making them difficult to understand and interact with when navigating using assistive technologies such as screen readers.
  • Criteria: 9.4.1.3
Status messages, such as those reporting errors in forms, are not correctly announced to assistive technologies, not guaranteeing immediate feedback on their actions when navigating via assistive technologies such as screen readers.
